Nick Farrer and I went up to see Bradley Wiggins on his momentous day of the Time Trial in the London Olympics 2012.
We watched part of the Women's TT (setting off around 12pm) from the straight road leading up to Hampton Court, just up from Kingston-on-Thames.
We then headed to the grounds of Hampton Court itself to get a good viewing spot from the run up to the finish line for the Men's TT, starting approximately 2 hours after the Women's TT, we got a good viewing point by a big circular road way, home to an internal lake and statue.
The weather conditions were spot on with a good turn out.
Here supplied is a cover picture with a few extra of additional riders as they came round for their final push to the finish.Bradley Wiggins is photographed at the end.
