Nobody took me up on my 2011 ostrich racing challenge, so after a
holiday in Sri Lanka I'm thinking that maybe elephant racing might be a
more attractive proposition? As you can see, I've had a practice run
in Thorntons' name to test things out, and discovered that elephants
should certainly be able to cope with even larger puddles than we
normally get on Romney Marsh! Alternatively, we could try python
wrestling - yes it is a bit scary ...but not as frightening as cycling
behind Ratty!
In case you are wondering, I did manage to get in a
bit of "proper" cycling on the trip, but this particular machine was a
lot tougher to control than it looks!
