Since my last report Brian took part in the PMR 10 on the Q10/1 and
continued his steady improvement with 27.20.
With John away on holiday
Thornton riders at local club 10's have been a bit thin on the ground,
apart from young Jack Bryant at the Rye Wheelers 10 on 31st May, already
documented on the blog. Well Jack stormed round in 27.05, a massive
improvement on his previous. Jack will have many, many improvements in
the coming years. I could quite easily see Jack having the best time of
any Thornton in a 10 this year.
Sunday 2nd June was the KCA 50 on the
Q50/11. Four Thorntons taking part. Russ and Brian renewing their
friendly rivalry with Brian again getting the upper hand with 2.31.27
beating Russ\'s 2.36.30.
Don improved on his previous 50 with
2.22.57,and i finished with 2.19.03.
