TOUR DE FRANCE FAN PARK INVITE

Hi there,

I am writing to let you know about the Tour de France Fan Park, London 2013 and invite you and your cycling club members to the event (website: tourdefrancefanpark.co.uk).

The Fan Park will be running for the last week of the Tour de France - the deciding alpine stages of the Tour - from Monday 15thJuly until Sunday 21st July when, via a giant screen, we'll welcome the riders come home onto the Champs Elysees in what will be an historic night time finish for the 100th edition of the Tour. 

A free event, the Fan Park is located at Wood Wharf, Canary Wharf from 15th-21st July open until 10pm daily.

The attached flyers detail everything that is going on - but we have put together a real celebration of the Tour de France and cycling.  Why not make the Fan Park the end destination for your weekend cycle? The sunday evening should be a spectacle with the riders entering the Champs Elysees - hopefully another Team Sky victory - in what will be an historic night time finish for the 100th edition of the Tour .

We also have a very special installation - a historical walkthrough of the Tour de France archives - the The Tour de France Exposition; an educational exhibition showcasing the greatest race on earth.

There will also be a British Cycling led Breeze initiative - a women's commute ride leaving from the Fan Park one evening - More details to follow.
