Sunday 26 Jan Cafe Stop Cyclo - Cross team...

The Thornton intrepid explorers seeking out new Cafes far far away came across more obstacles last Sunday than they had expected. Fallen trees, floods, rain, gales, sleet, rain (Oh I said rain already), gravel, potholes, thorns, punctures, mud, cold....

Apart from the above its was a great day out and the food at the Cafe was excellent. The photo below is of a fallen tree completely blocking the road which we had to man / lady handle all the bikes over, the Tandem was a bit tricky.

And yes Michael before Russ tells you I had to walk the last 30 feet of one of the hills...
